New Disney food for kids
Trust Disney to think of a clever gimmick to get fussy eaters excited about food!
In conjunction with Tesco, Disney is set to launch a line of co-branded children’s Disney food products featuring Disney and Disney/Pixar characters. It’ll include yogurts, breakfast cereals, fruit juices, bakery items and milk.
The Disney food range is only due for release next January. But, to whet your appetites, Mickey Mouse-shaped fresh egg pasta filled with delicious cheese, tomato & basil is available now from Tesco (£1.65).
It takes just five minutes to cook and, as promised by the Disney food range, is free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. And it’s suitable for vegetarians! The 200g pack is likely enough to feed two to three children, depending on appetite of course.
In a bid to help families eat healthier, all Disney Food items will conform to specific nutritional guidelines that place limits on calories, fat, saturated fat, sugar and sodium.
I am dedicated to home cooked meals but sometimes there is just no time and my freezer is empty – so I would certainly appreciate an easy-to-cook range that’s ‘junk free’.
