New iPhone app for Mumsnetters
Megasite Mumsnet.com has launched a nifty little iPhone app for new parents. The app is an introductory guide to the postnatal, entitled Babies: The Mumsnet Guide, which offers advice, thoughts and experiences of thousands of parents on: breastfeeding, colic, sleep, food, health, relationships and childcare.
The guide contains the gathered-up, boiled-down wisdom of thousands of mums and the occasional dad who have posted on Mumsnet since its launch in June 2000. Throw in some debates about parenting styles and plenty of embarrassing admissions and you have the answers to everything you need to get you through life with a baby.
I certainly would have appreciated perusing Mumsnet’s baby guide on my iPhone during all of those late night feeds – a) the stimulation would (hopefully) have kept me awake, and b) useful parenting tips are always a plus.
The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It requires iOS 3.0 or later.
