My top 10 wardrobe essentials consist of Dr Martens (as many as I can afford and as many as will fit in my cupboard, under the bed or any other space needing to be filled), Iron Fist tees, flare dresses and skirts, culotte-shorts and tights, heart shapes glasses, corsets, halter-necks, boas and platform heels.
Call me Little Miss fashion… not.
So I thought I had better consult a style guru when writing a list of top ten wardrobe essentials that are a must have for any respectable wardrobe (respectable counts me out). InStyle magazine says that you NEED:
1. The Tunic Dress: Opt for a simple, clean-line silhouette.
2. The Shades: This accessory sums up personal style.
3. The Cable-Knit Jumper: Practical and chic – the perfect cover up.
4. The Tote: Minimal detailing doesn’t date.

5. The Shirt: Wear under a loose blazer for work.

What!? It’s autumn already?
Breathe in, breathe out. The leaves are still on the trees….just.
But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t think about the season’s wardrobe. Accessories and makeup especially.
InStyle has been generous enough to dish the dirt on what pain we should be applying to our faces this autumn, here’s some key makeup styles for autumn 11:
Boyish Brows & Pared-Down Skin: It’s time to rediscover your inner ‘tough’ girl. Bold brows and minimal skin (light foundation) give your natural beauty serious attitude.

Our 22 year-old blogging expert from the West Midlands has found a product that cures dry hair. Yes, really! Check out her review of John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease miracle treatment – which just might actually be miraculous!

John Frieda daily miracle treatment review…
If you didn’t know I’m addicted to any hair products that claim to make your hair “stronger/healthier” having long hair it’s more prone to getting dry so when I got asked if I would like to review the newest product from the John Frieda Frizz Ease range I happily agreed.
“Vitamin infused leave in conditioner nourishes and detangles dry, damaged strands to help hair resist breakage and feel silky-smooth. With heat protectant. Safe for colour treated hair”
Being rather lazy the past few weeks I was blow-drying my hair, (something I never do) instead of letting it dry naturally as a result I was greeted with nice dry hair…not! So as instructed, I sprayed liberally throughout clean, damp hair. As it’s a leave in conditioner there’s no need to wash out afterwards which I like as it can be left in to work its magic.
First thing you notice when you spray is the smell; it’s gorgeous. The product leaves no greasy residue behind and also doesn’t weigh the hair down like some treatments I’ve used.

Gals, you have to check out the new Kate Hudson ring collection – especially if you’re big on bling.
Celebs churn out fashion and fragrances at the rate MacDonald’s churns out Big Macs – it’s hard to keep up. But the lovely Kate Hudson ring range is certainly something to take note of.
The super star actress teamed up with BFF Laurie Lynn Stark (aka Chrome Hearts Jewellery) for a jewellery collaboration entitled CH+KH.
It includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, and is available in select Chrome Hearts boutiques. The chunky cocktail rings are particularly tasty and can be found in Selfridges department, which recently played host to the press preview of CH + KH.

Fashionetc.com says that the CH+KH collection is inspired by the pals’ journeys around the world, with aquamarine, peridot, green tourmaline, and citrine gemstones recalling a Bahamian beach.
