Weight Watchers, in collaboration with Debenhams, has launched the ‘Ultimate Weight Loss Wardrobe’. The collection aims to meet the needs of women who are on a weight loss journey. In other words, the new Wardrobe could be the solution to the yo-yo weight problem faced by many dieters.
When you’re dieting, and your body is changing size and shape, there are two problems: the first is knowing what styles to buy and the second is having to replace your wardrobe every time you drop (or gain) a size.
It can be frustrating – especially when self-esteem is at a low; High Street shopping may not be too appealing a thought – sizes are never consistent between shops and trying endless amounts of clothes only to find that none of them fit, takes the shop out of shopping.
The Ultimate Weight Loss wardrobe intends to encourage women to embrace the shopping experience, whatever their size, shape, or level of confidence regarding their size.
The collection is an array of capsule wardrobe pieces, including:
* Betty Jackson.Black Red linen blend shirt dress
* Betty Jackson.Black Blue twist front summer dress
* Rocha.John Rocha Navy ruched sleeve dress

* Rocha.John Rocha Navy ruffled floral tunic top

Jeans – love ‘em but am hopeless at buying ‘em. They always end up being too big because I am afraid that if they fit just perfectly (as jeans should) they’ll shrink in the wash and then I’ll never be able to wear them again.
It’s called paranoia (clothes have a ‘wash label’ for a reason, right!?) – know it but I can’t help it.
Perhaps the solution for me is denim concierge; a cool concept launched by a couple of companies including The Raw Denim Bar that try to find the best fitting jeans for women. Okay, so how does ‘denim concierge’ work?
The Raw Denim Bar has, together with Fit Experts and Fashion Stylists, developed a set of questions aimed at finding the best fitting jeans for women to find your unique denim personality, your ideal size, cut and wash preferences. With this info, TRDB will select five pairs of jeans that suit your profile. Then…

…your jeans are delivered at a time and date prearranged with the customer services team. You will be able to try them on, pair them with shoes, style them with your favourite tops and jackets, seek opinions from your friends, husband, children, whoever. Then…

Dip-dyed hair is IN ladies! Everyone’s doing it; from Drew Barrymore, Tulisa, Stacey Solomon and Salma Hayek to more daring dippers including Kate Bosworth, Jessie J and Lady Gaga (duh!).
So basically, the idea is to ‘two-tone’ your hair; as if your ends have been dipped in a tin of paint.
Dip-dyed hair can be as simple as brown hair turning blonde at the bottom, or blonde to brown in a vice versa scenario. Graduated colour, in other words.
And if the el natural look is a little too stayed for you; then dip your hair in some orange or yellow. The Blonde to blue or green Dip-dyed hair look is popular at the mo. Pink is fab, and Black to red or purple looks amazing!

To get your hair to dye any of the extreme colours, unless you’re blonde you’ll have to have your hair bleached so that the colour will take.

One of the best, easiest ways to keep fit, healthy and well-exercised is to walk: walk instead of bussing, driving or tubing – as far as possible.
It costs nothing and it’s a great way to avoid the ‘manic morning commute’ faced by most city denizens – granted; pedestrian traffic can be annoying but it’s never as bad as a crammed bus or train!
And cycling is even better! It costs a bit more than walking and requires a fair amount of coordination and bravery (if you’re a London cyclist) but it’s great for fitness and sanity – or so my husband says.
And so does my friend, who cycles in the highest heels you have ever seen – it can be done ladies!
Once in the habit, it becomes a lifestyle – whether it’s walking or cycling. And if you’re a Londoner you can get incentives for doing both!

The newly launched ‘re:route scheme’ lets people download a mobile app to collect points for journeys made by bike or on foot. These can then be redeemed against offers and discounts from a range of companies including Marks and Spencer, Planet Organic and Champneys.

Lovely, luscious, hydrating lip butter. Mmmmm.
Revlon has launched a range of ‘Colourburst Lip Butters’ that mix buttery balm with shiny colour to give you baby soft, healthy, glowing lips. The hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula reportedly boosts lip moisture by 156%.
My worst gripe about lip gloss is that if I wear it, without fail my hair ends up stuck to my lips. Argh! Lip butters are not gloopy or sticky thus totally hair friendly – far more so than lip gloss.
ColorBurst Lip Butter is available in 20 shades, from sheer to medium colour, that rubs on with a buttery shine.

Named after food – utterly delectable! – colours include the likes of Lollipop (hot pink), Crème Brulee, Berry Smoothie, Strawberry Shortcake and Gumdrop (lilac).
