Summer fashion trend – get tropical!
One of the hottest Summer fashion trends is the ‘tropicana trend’. Think… Hawaii – sun, fun, sand and sea. Big, bold fruit and flower island-inspired prints and patterns, flowing dresses, luau skirts and almost edible designer jewellery.
Dolce & Gabbana hit the runways this season with models dripping veggies; garlic, tomatoes, chillis, aubergines, peppers and pasta (yes pasta!) in an amalgamation of vibrant coloured glitzy gold charms, earrings and chains – love!
Designers including Diane von Furstenberg, Matthew Williamson, Timo Weiland, Mary Katrantzou and Altuzarra are rocking the Summer fashion trend this season. And if you’re looking to the High Street for inspiration, New Look has an insane collection of palm printed, floral embossed, brightly coloured clothing, shoes and accessories. H&M is also rocking some killer summer frocks!
To complete your tropical outfit; try a very trendy tangerine lipstick or tone it down with a natural nude beach look, or even a sun-kissed pale pink.
The Summer fashion trend is très cool! It can be worn with overstated attitude or made subtle with tropical nuances complementing a more understated ensemble.
It’s your chance to wear all things fruity while the trend lasts.
