Ten top makeup brands used by UK women

What makeup brands live in your makeup bag? I know I have some Maybeline and Rimmel going on.

But that’s just two.

What are the ten top makeup brands used by UK women?

I am sure we could all hazard a guess but a new poll (commissioned by Vouchercloud.com http://www.vouchercloud.com/) asking women to list the branded contents of their makeup bags has offered some clarity, check out the results:

  • Rimmel – 42 per cent
  • Maybeline – 39 per cent
  • Clinique – 38 per cent
  • Bobby Brown – 33 per cent
  • L’Oreal – 31 per cent
  • Max Factor – 27 per cent
  • Revlon – 25 per cent
  • Benefit– 22 per cent
  • Urban Decay – 17 per cent
  • Lancôme- 17 per cent

So the two brands I own so happened to be the top two on the list – interesting.

My mascara is Maybeline and I own a Rimmel foundation and some eye shadow too. And the reason they’ve made it into my makeup bag is because find the quality of each brand good and the prices reasonable – the stats suggest that many of you would agree?

What makeup brands populate your makeupbag? Do any of your favourites appear on the list?
